Propan-butane (LPG = liquefied petroleum gas) is used as an alternative to gasoline for internal combustion engines. It has a variety of advantages like: it is not poisonous, does not cause corrosion, has higher octane, burns more cleanly than petrol.

However, LPG has lower energy value andhigher fuel consumption, but its lower price leads to saving money.
