Dieselor’s chain of gas stations got greener with photovoltaic systems at its sites
In 2018 Dieselor was the first Bulgarian gas station chain to install a charging station for electric cars at its site. Five years later, the company already has four charging points for electric cars at its sites in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stamboliyski and Novi Pazar.
The green transition does not stop there!
In 2023, Dieselor built two photovoltaic plants for its own needs, providing clean, solar power for the operation of its gas stations in Plovdiv and Stamboliyski. This is a huge step, representing a unique addition to powering charging stations by closing the loop and achieving carbon neutrality.
According to the latest data from 2023, there are already over 1000 charging stations in Bulgaria, but how many of them can provide completely green energy? With the help of PV, Dieselor can boast that the energy produced by the sun has a zero carbon footprint for the needs of gas stations and EV stations.
"During the numerous years of our activity on the fuel market, we have always emphasized on advantages such as flexibility, initiative and innovation! We appreciate the tendency for electric vehicles to enter Bulgaria more and more, and we are ready to be part of the new technologies and enjoy their benefits!", comments Dieselor. "Closing the loop with clean energy from solar panels is a natural extension of the green transition. This is the reason why we started installing charging stations and photovoltaic plants at our gas stations. We at Dieselor are extremely happy that we can keep up with environmental and automotive trends and help build a stable, reliable, comprehensive green infrastructure in Bulgaria."
The construction of photovoltaic systems at the gas stations in Plovdiv and Stamboliyski is only the beginning of this initiative, and the other sites will soon be joined.
Dieselor once again proves its innovation and unceasing enthusiasm to develop and delight not only users and its customers, but also future generations.
"We charge not only the present, but also the future!"
