500 exhibitors from 25 countries took part in the AGRA 2022 agricultural exhibition

After a two-year break, exhibitors and visitors finally gathered for one of the biggest events for the agricultural sector.

The opening was made by the Vice President Iliyana Yotova, the Deputy Ministers of Agriculture Stefan Burdzhev, Atanas Dobrev and Dr. Momchil Nekov, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry Plamen Abrovski, diplomats, MPs, the Plovdiv Mayor Zdravko Dimitrov and mayors of Plovdiv district, municipal councilors.

The organizers fulfilled their promise for a stronger and more useful exhibition. At a record-breaking exhibition space of over 35,000 m2, a record number of over 500 exhibitors from 25 countries welcomed the interested farmers.

The good news that there will be an additional resource of BGN 150 million in the budget for 2022 was announced by the Deputy Minister, so that the total budget for agriculture amounts to BGN 450 million.
