High interest in the 14th edition of BATA Agro 2022
For the ninth consecutive year, Dieselor participated in the specialized agricultural exhibition Bata Agro 2022, held at Stara Zagora Airport.
The opening was made by Dr. Ivan Ivanov, Minister of Agriculture, Yordan Nikolov and Krassimira Chahova, Deputy Mayors of Stara Zagora, Maria Dineva, Chairman of the Municipal Council - Stara Zagora, Prof. Nasko Vassilev, Regional Governor of Stara Zagora, Nikolay Kavardzhikliev, Executive Director of the State Fund "Agriculture", as well as guests from the state and local administration.
The Minister of Agriculture Dr. Ivan Ivanov commented that the event is proof that the agricultural sector has the potential to be at a global level:
"The competitiveness of the sector depends on the innovation processes in agriculture, on the need to move to modern methods of production, which can be achieved by supporting the industry both through European funds and national funds. In this way we will achieve our goal Bulgaria to become a country with modern and developed agriculture, which provides opportunities for farmers not only to strengthen their positions, but also to enter new markets."
163 companies, world famous brands and Bulgarian companies offering machinery, equipment, goods and services for the agricultural sector, located on 35,000 sq.m. exhibition area, welcomed thousands of farmers from all over the country and abroad. Not only the meetings and the exclusive offers attract the farmers, but also the opportunity for demonstrations with agricultural machinery and test drives of the machines in real, field conditions. Moreover, on the site of the exhibition for the visitors were prepared experimental fields with crops for demonstration of seeds, fertilizers and preparations. The innovations did not stop here! For the first year, there was an additional sector with a farmer's market, from which everyone could buy directly from producers seasonal fruits and vegetables, products from cow, goat, buffalo and sheep milk, honey and bee products, flowers and seedlings of herbs and spices, juices, syrups and jams, cereals, wine and others. In this way, the forum presented in practice how the circle of cultivation, production and sale is closed successfully.
Dieselor met with hundreds of representatives of the agricultural sector - both their satisfied customers and new ones wishing to receive individual proposals for the supply of diesel fuel from the company. Gladly, Dieselor's team gained trust on the spot and negotiated new deliveries during the event.
During the opening, Minister Ivanov also commented that measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of the Rural Development Program 2014-2020 is what the farmer who wants to modernize his production needs. According to him, the financial aid of at least 50% of the amount of costs for which he applies is the motive that makes the measure so attractive for the much needed investments, including agricultural machinery.
"It is necessary to gradually and smoothly renew the agricultural technology park with new, more modern, more reliable and better tractors and combines, which will help the Bulgarian agriculture to become not only more modern and safer, but also more highly productive and profitable", said Dr. Ivanov.
