The Law on fuels was postponed
The parliament postponed the entry into force of the amendments to the Law on fuels until July 1st, 2019.
During this period the aim is to make adjustments to the disputed texts for the heavy financial requirements and other misunderstandings, such as the restrictions on the refueling of heavy machinery, which would inevitably have serious consequences not only for the petroleum companies but also for the construction, transport, agriculture, mining and metallurgy sectors.
The temporary cancellation was reached thanks to the arguments and protests of small traders and carriers of fuels.
Amendments will be made by July 1st with proposals already being tabled - cancellation of the bank guarantees and of the requirement for refueling heavy machinery only from stationary sites.
The discussions continue.
